Quality Inspection Services

Quality is the lifeline of TR Solids Control. From raw material incoming to finished product dispatch, the company has established a full-process standardized quality inspection system that strictly complies with API Q1 and ISO 9001 international quality management system requirements, ensuring that every piece of equipment delivers reliable quality and stable performance.

Quality Inspection Services

Quality Inspection System

In accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards, TR Solids Control has established product quality inspection criteria and management procedures, implementing full-chain quality control from raw material receipt to finished product dispatch, ensuring timely delivery of satisfactory products that meet customer requirements.

Dedicated Quality Department

The company has a dedicated quality assurance department staffed with an experienced quality inspection team.

Rigorous Inspection Standards

Based on established criteria and supplier notices, the team performs 100% or sampling inspections on all products and issues formal written reports.

Strict Gatekeeping Principle

Only products that pass inspection proceed to the next process. Nonconforming products are isolated; under the principle of “nonconforming products shall not flow to subsequent processes nor be delivered to customers.”

Quality Inspection Procedures by Stage

A

Incoming Raw Material Inspection

  • Item Verification: The Quality Assurance Department checks the name, quantity, and model of incoming materials against the packing list.
  • Pending Inspection Labeling: After verification, materials are stored in the pending inspection area with a clear “pending inspection” label.
  • Inspection & Release: Quality inspectors examine or verify critical components and materials according to inspection specifications; only conforming items are released to inventory for use.
  • Nonconforming Material Disposition: Any raw material that does not meet standards is immediately isolated, marked as nonconforming, and handled according to the nonconforming product control procedure.
B

In-Process Quality Monitoring

Quality control during production follows the principle that “quality is built in, not merely inspected into, the product,” requiring quality to be embedded in the manufacturing process. TR Solids Control implements key process quality monitoring:

  • Process Parameter Monitoring: Real-time monitoring and recording of critical parameters such as welding temperature, vibration aging duration, and assembly torque.
  • Patrol Inspection: Quality inspectors conduct patrol checks on work-in-progress according to process procedures to ensure parameters remain within normal ranges, promptly identifying and correcting deviations.
  • Critical Component Testing: Specialized testing of welding quality, material thickness, and dimensional accuracy for critical components such as shale shaker screen baskets and centrifuge bowls.

In frontline production – from plate cutting and welding assembly to exciter system commissioning – every step is strictly overseen by an engineering team with over a decade of industry experience. Workshop personnel meticulously control every detail, from component machining and assembly to commissioning. Skilled technicians perform seamless welding of screen baskets and use vibration aging equipment to eliminate welding stress, preventing structural deformation under long-term vibration. The screen mounting surface is precision-milled to tightly control flatness deviations, ensuring close contact between screen and shaker basket, thereby improving screening efficiency.

C

Finished Equipment Pre-Delivery Inspection

TR Solids Control strictly implements a 100% final inspection system. After each equipment unit is fully assembled, the quality inspection department tests it against the final inspection checklist. A certificate of conformity is issued only after the unit passes inspection, and only then may it be dispatched.

The final inspection covers the following items:

  • Visual Inspection: No scratches, cracks, or deformation on surfaces; even coating without blistering, peeling, or wear; all components firmly tightened.
  • Functional Testing: Exciter system commissioning, motor operation test, seal integrity check, belt tension adjustment.
  • Performance Testing: Verification of key parameters: processing capacity, separation accuracy, vibration frequency.
  • Trial Run Testing: Continuous trial run of solids control systems and complete equipment; comprehensive verification of all performance parameters.
  • Safety Inspection: Electrical safety, guard integrity, grounding reliability.

All completed solids control equipment at Tianrui is fully assembled, motor-protected, and subjected to final inspection before being moved to the pending-shipment area, ensuring every unit is delivered in optimal condition.

International Certifications and Standards System

TR Solids Control has established a comprehensive international certification system that provides authoritative institutional support for quality inspection work:

API Q1
API Quality Management System Certification. Quality control for oil & gas drilling equipment; global petroleum industry benchmark.
ISO 9001
International Quality Management System Certification. Full-process quality management meeting international quality requirements.
ISO 14001
Environmental Management System Certification. Environmental protection and sustainable management in production.
OHSAS 18001
Occupational Health & Safety Management System Certification. Factory safety and employee health protection.
EU CE
Product Safety Conformity Certification. Market access to the European Union; proof of product safety and regulatory compliance.

TR Solids Control products strictly follow API Q1/ISO 9001 standards and have successfully passed international authority audits. Core testing items including material mechanical properties, chemical composition, welding quality, and non-destructive testing all comply with API standard requirements.

For core product testing, under the API Q1 framework, Tianrui’s quality inspection covers critical items such as material tensile testing (yield strength, tensile strength), impact testing (impact energy), hardness testing, alloy element deviation control, and crack detection sensitivity, ensuring structural integrity and safety of equipment under high-pressure and high-temperature environments. The company conducts inspections in accordance with authoritative international and domestic standards including API 5CT, ISO 148-1, and GB/T 228.1, maintaining a well-controlled quality management system and fully traceable inspection records.

Third-Party Testing & Industry Standards

Beyond its own quality inspection capabilities, TR Solids Control actively engages third-party testing organizations to provide independent quality verification, ensuring the impartiality and authority of product testing.

CNAS Accredited Laboratory: Testing reports from laboratories accredited by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment

CMA Certified Testing: Testing reports with China Metrology Accreditation

For industry standards, TR Solids Control strictly follows relevant petroleum industry technical specifications, including SY/T 6223-1996 (Installation, Use, and Maintenance of Solids Control Equipment) and SY/T 6871-2020 (Installation, Use, Maintenance, and Care of Drilling Fluid Solids Control Equipment for Oil & Gas Drilling).
