Oily sludge contains a mixture of oil, water, solids, and coarse debris. Before separation, the sludge is heated and mixed to make it flow more easily and release oil from the solids.
Treatment chemicals can be added during conditioning when required. Coarse debris is removed first, followed by fine-solids separation. The liquid then moves to the oil-water separation stage.
Oil is collected for further use or processing. The separated water can be reused or sent for downstream treatment. The remaining solids are discharged for disposal or further treatment.
TRHY units come in skid-mounted and vehicle-mounted configurations. Heating options include electric, steam, and thermal oil. Processing capacity ranges from 5 to 30 m³/h.
