TR Jet Mud Mixer is used to add dry drilling fluid materials during mud preparation. Bentonite, barite, and other powdered additives enter the mud stream through the jet hopper.
The centrifugal pump sends drilling fluid through the nozzle at high velocity. The resulting low-pressure zone at the hopper inlet draws the dry material into the mud stream, where it is wetted and dispersed.
The mixed drilling fluid then returns to the mud tank or circulation system. The pump, hopper, and piping are mounted on a common skid for connection to the mud system.
