The TR Flare Ignition Device connects to the gas discharge line of a mud gas separator and ignites the released gas at the flare torch.
Gas flows from the mud gas separator through the discharge line to the torch. A 16 kV spark ignites the gas at the torch. The unit supports both manual and remote ignition, with a remote operating range of approximately 100–150 m.
