TR Solids Control at the 2017 Xinjiang Petroleum Exhibition Meeting Drilling Professionals and Sharing Field Experience in Xinjiang
At the exhibition, TR displayed a mud shale shaker, replacement shaker screens, and related drilling fluid treatment equipment. The green shaker at the booth attracted visitors who wanted to learn more about equipment design, screening performance, and its application in different drilling conditions.
Throughout the event, TR’s team had direct conversations with drilling professionals, equipment users, and industry visitors. Many discussions focused on real field requirements, including solids control performance, drilling fluid recovery, and equipment selection.
Real Discussions Around Drilling Conditions
The exhibition was more than a product display. It became a place where customers shared their experience from actual drilling operations.

Visitors stopped at the TR booth to check the shaker structure, look at the vibration motors, and review the screen panels. Some asked about processing capacity, while others focused on screen service life in abrasive formations.
Questions often came directly from the field:
How does the shaker perform with fine solids?
What screen combination works better for different formations?
How can drilling fluid loss be reduced during cuttings removal?
TR’s engineers discussed these topics with visitors and explained how equipment configuration can be adjusted according to different working conditions.
Showing Mud Shale Shaker Details at the Booth

The main equipment displayed at the exhibition was TR’s mud shale shaker for drilling fluid separation.
Visitors could view the shaker frame, vibration motors, screen installation design, and other key components up close. TR also displayed different shaker screens, allowing customers to compare screen structures and understand how screen selection affects separation performance.
During drilling operations, the shale shaker is the first stage of solids control. It removes larger cuttings from drilling fluid before further treatment equipment, such as mud cleaners and centrifuges, is used for finer separation.
By discussing the equipment structure and operating conditions, TR helped visitors better understand how a complete solids control system works in the field.
Learning from Customer Feedback
One of the most valuable parts of the exhibition was the communication between TR and drilling professionals.
Different customers shared challenges they had experienced during operations, including sticky formations, abrasive sand, and changing drilling fluid conditions.
These conversations gave TR a clearer understanding of how equipment performs in different environments. Feedback from users also helped guide future improvements in shaker design, screen selection, and system configuration.
For an equipment manufacturer, field experience is an important reference. Real operating conditions often provide information that cannot be found only in technical documents.
Continuing to Improve Solids Control Equipment
The 2017 Xinjiang Petroleum Exhibition was an opportunity for TR Solids Control to connect with customers and learn more about the needs of the oilfield industry.
Based on years of manufacturing experience, TR continues to develop and supply solids control equipment for oil and gas drilling, HDD, geothermal drilling, and other applications.
The conversations and feedback collected during the exhibition remain part of TR’s ongoing effort to design reliable equipment that meets practical drilling requirements.
