TR Dual Motion Shale Shaker offers two motion patterns for moving cuttings across the screen deck. Linear motion carries solids off the deck quickly. Balanced elliptical motion gives the cuttings more movement across the screen before discharge.
Drilling returns enter through the feed hopper and spread across the screen deck. As the basket vibrates, drilling fluid passes through the screens and the drilled solids move toward the discharge end.
Linear motion is useful when fast cuttings conveyance is needed, especially with higher flow rates or heavier solids loading. Balanced elliptical motion suits sticky solids and higher-viscosity drilling fluids, where keeping solids on the screen longer can aid separation.
The operator can select the motion that fits the drilling section. The deck angle is also adjustable from -3° to +3° to fine-tune cuttings movement across the screen.
