TR Drilling Desilter is installed downstream of the desander to remove finer drilled solids from circulating mud. TR models cover a 15–44 μm separation range for fine solids removal.
Mud enters the 4″ hydrocyclones under pressure and forms a swirling flow. Centrifugal force drives heavier fine solids toward the cyclone wall and into the underflow, while separated drilling fluid exits through the overflow.
Multiple hydrocyclone configurations cover different flow capacities across the TR range. An optional bottom shaker can be installed below the cyclones to separate drilling fluid from the discharged solids.
