Brandt VSM 300 Shaker Screen is an aftermarket replacement screen for the VSM 300 shale shaker. It is available for the scalping, primary, and drying decks, with stainless steel mesh and a pretensioned, repairable frame. API RP 13C designations from API 10 to API 325 are available for different screen specifications.
The VSM 300 has three screening stages. Three screens are installed on the scalping deck, four on the primary deck, and two on the drying deck. The primary and drying decks operate at a fixed +7° angle.
Larger drilled solids are removed on the scalping deck first. The primary deck handles the main separation stage, while the drying deck works on the solids leaving the shaker.
Drilling fluid passes through the selected mesh as the shaker moves solids toward the discharge end. The repairable frame allows worn or damaged mesh to be replaced without changing the complete screen frame.
