500 PWP Shaker Screen is made to replace the original screens on Derrick FLC 500 series shale shakers. It has two or three layers of stainless steel wire mesh backed by a perforated steel plate. The plate keeps the mesh firmly supported as the shaker vibrates.
During screening, drilling fluid flows across the vibrating panel. Liquid and smaller particles pass through the mesh, while larger drilled solids travel along the screen toward the discharge end.
Screen changes are handled from one side of the FLC 500 deck with its Quick-Lok tensioning system. The panel can be released and secured without working from both sides, which makes routine inspection and replacement more convenient.
