500 PMD Shaker Screen is a Pyramid-style replacement screen for Derrick FLC 500 series shale shakers. The raised three-dimensional profile offers more usable screening area than a flat screen. Instead of a flat surface, the panel has a raised, corrugated Pyramid profile that makes greater use of the available screening area.
Drilling fluid moves across the corrugated surface as the shaker runs. Vibration and gravity carry the drilled solids toward the discharge end, while the open areas between the raised sections let more fluid pass through. The three-dimensional profile also leaves room for finer screening within the same shaker footprint.
The FLC 500 uses single-side screen tensioning with tensioning fingers and two Quick-Lok half-turn bolts on each panel. From one side of the shaker, the screen can be released for inspection and secured again after replacement.
