2000 PWP Shaker Screen is a flat replacement screen for Derrick FLC 2000 series shale shakers, also known as 48 × 30 screens.
It is a flat hook-strip screen for Derrick FLC 2000 series shale shakers. The screen uses stainless steel wire mesh bonded to a rectangular or hexagonal perforated wear plate.
The perforated plate keeps the mesh firmly supported as the shaker runs. It also helps limit movement of the screening surface and makes local repairs easier when part of the panel is worn.
During screening, drilling fluid flows across the vibrating panel. Smaller particles and liquid pass through the mesh, while larger drilled solids move toward the discharge end.
