2000 PMD Shaker Screen is a Pyramid replacement screen for Derrick FLC 2000 series shale shakers, also known as 48 × 30 screens. The raised three-dimensional surface offers more usable screening area than a flat screen.
It uses multiple layers of stainless steel wire mesh formed into a raised three-dimensional Pyramid profile. It is made as a replacement screen for Derrick FLC 2000 series shale shakers.
Drilling fluid flows across the screen as the shaker operates. Liquid and smaller solids pass through the mesh, while larger drilled solids move toward the discharge end. The raised profile gives the screening surface more open area for fluid passage.
